What would you do working in this role?

This role has responsibilities working on vehicle and trailers: 
Troubleshoot mechanical problems
  • Basic vehicle repair
    • Major repairs will be sent off site for service work
  • Trailers - A plus
    • DOT trailer inspections
    • Brake jobs
    • Electrical trouble shooting
  • Vehicle oil changes/Brakes a plus
  • Track milage in TATEMS
  • Coordinate vehicle services and verify completion
  • Tooling repair
  • Knowledge of scan tools
You would also complete work around the Rohde grounds: 
  • Septic screen cleaning spring and fall
  • Snow plowing / clean up
  • Janitorial work
  • Service generator and compressor
  • Service Forklifts
And, finally, there would be some driving, as you would be going to jobsites with deliveries as needed. 
Qualifications/Skills
  • WI Driver’s License
  • Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills. - Required
  • Works well independently and with others. - Required
  • Good communication skills. - Required
  • Organized with attention to detail. - Required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment. - Required
  • Skilled in diagnosis and repair of electrical systems on trucks and equipment - Required
  • Skilled in DOT inspections – Preferred
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent – Required
  • Previous mechanical experience preferred
  • Some vocational or college with related coursework or equivalent experience - Required
